Warehouse and Stores Operative

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse and Stores operative to help strengthen our operations team.

In this role you will be working closely with Warehouse supervision and Production Operatives. Contribute to warehouse support tasks such as order packing, stock counting, labelling, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to contribute to a variety of activities within a small and hands-on team.

Other key accountabilities will be;
*Ensuring that all goods that are loaded for dispatch or unloaded for goods in and match the relevant paperwork.
*Taking responsibility for a company’s finished goods and assets by reporting any suspicious activity at work
*Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures in warehouse and designated storage areas.
*Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Warehouse/Operations Manager
*Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment ensuring EV units are charged and battery levels topped up.
*Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
*Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules
*Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, which typically involves picking and packing to specific job and service sheets.
*Always Treating merchandise with care and concern
*Preferred to have forklift licence/experience.
*Flexible with working times to ensure cover during holidays and break times.
*Physical, fitness, and dexterity, as they often have to lift packages or work at elevated heights.
*Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of a warehouse team.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Computer literacy, including knowing how to use scanners and relevant software programs, such as warehouse management systems.
*Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills to coordinate large volumes of goods.
*Honesty and trustworthiness
*The ability to work effectively under limited supervision.

Hours of Work - Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
