Clissold House is a stunning Grade II listed building, which is set in the grounds of Clissold Park in Hackney. The 18th Century mansion is a popular wedding and events venue, offering expertly restored architecture and exceptional views of the grounds. The park itself is also one of Hackney’s best-loved and was first opened to the public in 1889.
They recently came to us for a solution to supplying water to the Café area, public toilets and the wedding venue and we knew it had to be in keeping with the beautiful surroundings. After careful discussion with our expert team, it was decided that our UPOD Underground Plant Room would be installed.
This fully-fitted underground GRP plant room is WRAS approved and incorporates a packaged booster set and storage tank. With integrated wall stiffeners, it allows for a dry lean mix backfill to be poured around the housing and a slab can then be cast directly onto the cover, or a precast slab placed over the top. Being installed completely underground it removed the need for Clissold House to find space for a plant room, whilst also ensuring there are no noise issues.
Our UPOD units require no planning permission, come with two year warranty (terms and conditions apply). To assist with remote monitoring of the systems, Telemetry is included which is capable of sending fault signals out to remote locations via SMS text or telephone line.
